Evernote is a great note-taking tool for all educators. It is cross-platform and can be run on your computer or as a web app. In addition, it has many mobile apps as well.
Whether you want to type a note, speak a note or video a note–Evernote can do it! I use Evernote to “bookmark” web content and have well over 3000 notes archived.
Best of all, Evernote offers a free option that will definitely meet most of your needs. If, after a while you find Evernote as useful as I have, there is a premium version available.
