I just learned today of a neat way to make a movie out of your Facebook Timeline. If you’re not familiar with Facebook’s new timeline feature you will be soon as the feature will be rolling out to all users shortly.
The Facebook Timeline replaces the wall and puts your whole “life” right in front of your eyes. But if you’re interested in a multimedia version of your timeline, then Timeline Movie Maker does the trick.

One of the most disappointing features of an otherwise fantastic app is the inability to download, share, etc. your final movie. But, I figured there has to be a way! So after I “made” my movie, I used Camtasia to record the movie and then sent it to YouTube. Here is the end result:
I believe that making videos is a powerful way for students to express themselves and we all know how many kids are on Facebook. After seeing this video I started thinking of all the ways students could make similar videos on their own!
