Try to Search Twitter, Facebook & Delicious Links

by on December 20, 2010

How many tweets with links have you posted?  How many times do you wish you could find that tweet?  Same goes with Facebook.  I don’t know about you, but sometimes I forget to bookmark a great link that I have tweeted!  Well, enter–a great way to search your Twitter and Facebook links. is in alpha stage, but I have found that it is definitely worth trying the service.  There’s nothing to lose–it’s free and it works!  As an added bonus, it works with Delicious!

The future of Delicious is anyone’s guess.  The only thing we know for sure is that you better export your Delicious bookmarks and decide on a new bookmarking system.  If you haven’t yet done that, see the related articles at the bottom of this post.

The best way to show you the power of is showing you.  I opened my account yesterday and it was ready to go this morning. imported my current Delicious bookmarks and I also connected the service with Twitter and Facebook.  I navigated to and did a search for “iPad.”  Here’s what I got: (click image to enlarge) searches instantly just like Google.  As you can see, it found over 1900 links in under half a second!  It gives you the dates of each link and the source.  One thing I like about is that you don’t have to do anything to update your links in  Once you are connected to Twitter and tweet a link, has got it.  In addition, there is no tagging (I hate tagging, by the way!). actually searches the text just like Google.

So, if you need a place to import your Delicious bookmarks, search your Twitter and Facebook links, then give a try.  I certainly wouldn’t rely on an alpha product as your final destination for your Delicious bookmarks, but there is no reason not to have several locations that have your old bookmarks and it looks like a great way to find those elusive links you tweeted.
