I’m in the market for a new phone. What do I have now? I’ve got an HTC Fuze running Windows Mobile!! Yes, it’s outdated but I manage to get it to do what I need it to do. But I’m getting a bit jealous!!!
There are 4 main paths you can take nowadays:
- iPhone
- Android
- Blackberry
- Windows 7
Since I am in the education market I am leaning toward the iPhone. However, I never make a purchase without fully researching the options and then getting user opinions. So today I was happy to see this infographic from Dailybits.com on the Windows 7 phone.
While this infographic provides some good basic information, its comparison of apps doesn’t help me too much. It makes it seem that app development for the Windows 7 phone is equal to the iPhone. Well, it is if you compare the number of apps 2 months after the release of each phone but the iPhone has been out for quite some time now. The real question is how many apps does the iPhone have now (particularly for education) versus the number for Windows 7. More investigating to be done!
